ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Shop responsibilities:

·  Maintenance and care of semi tractor-trailer units;

·  Preparation, maintenance and repair of specialized pumping equipment;

·  Pre-trip inspections of semi tractor-trailer units;

·  Loading of hazardous materials for acidizing, fracturing, and nitrogen services;

·  Preparation of shipping papers and documentation for transportation of hazardous materials;

·   Assist in cleaning shop and yard areas;

·   Duties may also include unloading sand from railcars at sand storage silos.

Well site responsibilities:

·  Driving semi tractor-trailer units to well site locations;

·  Connecting 4-inch hoses between tanks, blender and pump trucks;

·  Connecting 4-inch frac line to well head;

·  Duties also include lifting, carrying and connecting iron and swivel joints;

·  Using sledge hammer to tighten frac line connection unions;

·   Monitoring and operation of pumping equipment during well stimulation job;

·   Gauging fluids on well site.

At all times while representing the Company, the Equipment Operator Technician is expected to project a positive Company image to the customer and the general public.  The Equipment Operator Technician is to have a good working attitude towards assigned tasks, cooperation and teamwork with fellow employees and good communications skills.  The Equipment Operator Technician is required to operate and maintain the assigned equipment and vehicles with an attitude towards safety.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

·  High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent;

·   Oil field and/or well stimulation experience is preferred, but qualified and motivated individuals will be fully trained.

Language Skills:

·   Must be able to read and write English to comprehend hazardous material warning labels, signs and material as well as during all pumping operations.

Mathematical Skills:

·  Must have ability to perform basic addition, subtraction and division to complete driver’s log books;

·  Must be able to calculate transportable product weights to comply with U.S.D.O.T. regulations;

·   Must be able to provide accurate measurements of product amounts during all job operations.

Reasoning Ability:

·  Must possess the ability to use sound judgment when operating semi tractor-trailers on highways and off-road travel;

·  Must have ability to differentiate safety procedures during all levels of activity on well site;

·   Must have ability and willingness to receive and follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced employees.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

·   A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

·  Must be able to take and pass a medical physical administered by qualified, company-assigned health professional(s);

·  Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds for distances up to 100 feet;

·  Must be able to handle and accurately swing an 8-pound sledge hammer;

·  Must be able to climb a 6-foot ladder without assistance;

·   Must be able to remain active for at least 8 hours of well site activity.

This position requires the ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions (i.e.: rain, snow, cold, heat, etc.) and in various terrains, including arid plains and mountain conditions.  One should possess the willingness to work scheduled hours that may include early morning before five a.m., late afternoon/evening hours past seven p.m. and weekends in any combination during higher workload demands.  Work schedule can also include extended out-of-town assignments for two to three weeks at a time.

The Equipment Operator Technician position requires the employee to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks and handle material and equipment greater than fifty pounds.  It is essential that the Equipment Operator Technician interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.

In the framework of normal operations, the Equipment Operator Technician will be exposed to certain hazardous materials and hazardous operating conditions.  These hazardous materials include corrosives (acids), flammable and combustible materials, radioactive sources, silica dust and cryogenic liquids (nitrogen).  Hazardous conditions may include exposure to higher than normal noise and pressures.

The Company will provide appropriate personal protective equipment and the Equipment Operator Technician is required to wear the personal protective equipment (protective clothing; eye, ear and hand protection, etc.) when exposed to these hazardous materials.  Employees are required to provide their own pair of steel-toed boots.
